On a Path is a short documentary style piece that I directed, shot and edited in my 2nd year of my degree. It was done as part of a collection of videos on the same matter - career paths. The documentary collection was about the progression of different careers. People find their career in many different ways and no two stories are the same. Some know from a young age exactly what they want to do while others take time to figure out something that they love. It is important for people to see different stories relating to careers and the similarities that some narratives may have.
My piece is about my grandmother who left school at a young age and began working in the textile industry, eventually starting her own business.
